Alfred Spinks (1846-1916) was very young when the Spinks Family moved from England to Woodstock. Alfred married Sarah Clarke (daughter of George Clarke, Ingersoll Rd). The couple had a son Charles and by 1901 Alfred was operating his own business at 461 Dundas St. He continued to operate this business until the death of his son in 1908.
